(Research Center for Regenerative Medicine)

Tokyo University of Science was established in (Noda City, Chiba Prefecture) Noda campus of regenerative medicine research centers, such as organ regeneration. The total cost is 160 million yen. In addition to expanded research space, such as organ culture, to streamline the research to consolidate in one place the equipment had been distributed around the campus. The university has been conducting research on regeneration of teeth and hair, leading to early commercialization.

The newly established research center has a total floor area of 665 square meters and two floors of reinforced concrete ground. The floor space devoted to research that one. Provided, such as the vault of genetically modified animal and organ culture equipment, for experimental work.

Further analysis of the organ was also installed to play (MRI) and magnetic resonance imaging device for X-ray of the animal. That can be observed in more detail the state of the animals after organ transplantation. Each facility was also considered safety for animals does not run away and then double-entry doors. Until now, equipment is dispersed throughout the campus, was time-consuming to analyze, such as another building to lift the animal organs were cultured.

Second floor was the place of student teaching and information exchange. "Expected to become smoother other research, will also base of industry-academia collaboration," Professor Tsuji of Tokyo University of Science and Regenerative Medicine, which specializes in.

TUS is a tooth prepared and cultured cells were collected from fetuses of the mouse. Was allowed to play the tooth until you have another engagement then transplanted into mice. Culture of mouse hair, has also succeeded in porting to another mouse also grown hair. Professor Tsuji has seen and can be applied to humans Either technique, aiming to early clinical trials.

It is the research go so smoothly current situation has caused a variety of distributed fault is resolved.
