親元から離れて暮らす大学生への仕送り額が５年連続で減少し、月７万円を切ったことが、全国大学生活協同組合連合会（東京）の調査でわかった。
　１９８０年代初めの水準に落ち込んでいる。調査は昨年１０～１１月、全国２８大学で実施し、８４９８人から回答を得た。
　自宅外生（寮を除く）への仕送り額の平均は、月６万９７８０円（前年比１５３０円減）で、ピーク時（９６年の１０万２２４０円）の約７割の水準。「仕送りゼロ」の学生も１０・１％に上った。仕送りをアルバイトで補いたいところだが、アルバイト収入も４年連続で減少し、月２万１５４０円。その結果、支出が抑えられており、食費が２万２５９０円（前年比９２０円減）で、７０年代半ばの水準。書籍費は２０７０円（同１８０円減）で７０年以降で最低になった。家庭の経済状況が如実に現れていますね。研究や勉強に必要な書籍も買えない有様ですね。国が、もっと支援策を考えて欲しい気もしますね。
