ＯＰＥＲＡ代表２人が辞任（Two OPERA representation resigns.）

「光より速いニュートリノを観測した」との実験結果を発表した国際研究グループＯＰＥＲＡ（オペラ）の代表ら２人が辞任したことが分かった。２日付英科学誌ネイチャーのウェブサイトが伝えた。
同グループは昨年９月に超光速ニュートリノの観測を発表したが、発表直後から反論が続出。ネイチャーの報道によると、研究グループで内紛が数カ月続き、３月末に２人の不信任投票が行われた。不信任票は代表などを辞めさせるのに必要な３分の２には達しなかったものの半数を超え、２人は自発的に辞任した。
グループは２月、実験に使った時計とケーブルについて、実験結果に影響する可能性がある「問題」があったと認めていた。
現代物理学の根底を覆す内容でもありますので、細部にわたる精査が必要であったように思いますので、当然の結果のように感じますね。計測技術の進歩に従って、今まで明らかにされてこなかった物理現象が解明されたり修正を必要とされてきていますが、計測に対する信頼性はますます高まっていくことでしょうね。

Although the group announced observation of the super-velocity-of-light neutrino in September, last year, counterarguments occur one after another from immediately after an announcement.
According to the report of Nature, the internal trouble continued several months by the research consortium, and two persons' vote of nonconfidence was cast at the end of March.
The non-confidence vote exceeded the half of what was not attained to 2/3 [ required to retire representation etc. ], and two persons resigned it spontaneously to it.
It was admitted that the group had the "problem" which may influence an experimental result in February about the clock and cable which were used for the experiment.
Since I think that it needed to be scrutinized over details since it was also contents which reverse the bottom of modern physics, does it feel like a natural result?
Although the physical phenomenon which was not clarified until now is solved according to progress of measurement technology or correction has been needed, is the reliability over measurement rising increasingly?
