白鵬が上智大で講演(Hakuho lecture at Sophia University )

大相撲の横綱・白鵬が９日に上智大で講演することが２日、分かった。現役力士が大学の教壇に立つことは極めて異例のこと。同大学の四谷キャンパス（東京都千代田区）で全１１回連続で行われる講演会「実学　国際貢献論」の第１回の講演者として、国際交流・親善に懸ける意欲を学生・卒業生６００人に語りかける。
　モンゴル出身の白鵬は大相撲で史上５位タイの２２回の優勝を積み重ねる傍ら、ユネスコ親善大使を務めるなど国際貢献に大きく寄与。最近では会長を務める力士会からの寄付金と自らの懸賞金で東日本大震災の被害に遭った岩手県山田町に相撲場を建設し、今月末にも完成予定となっている。　同大学総務局の担当者は講演内容について「モンゴルと日本の懸け橋となる存在として、国際貢献論に沿ったテーマで話していただく予定です」と話しており、当日はウランバートル市ビジネス発展センター日本代表理事の石河氏とともに登壇。モンゴル出身ながら日本の国技の頂点に立つ“白鵬教授”がエリートの心をわしづかみにする。 どんな講義をされるのか注目が集まることでしょうね。ぜひ、聞いてみたいですね。
