女性ならではの感性を生かして農業に取り組む「山形ガールズ農場」（山形県村山市大槙）が、貸農園「メイド付き農園」のオーナー募集を始めた。
 　オーナーが畑の世話をできない期間は、ガールズが代わりに農作業をするユニークなネーミングの新事業で、５月１日に開園する予定。同農場では、「仙台市や首都圏などから農業に関心のある人を呼び込み、『山形ファン』を作りたい」としている。
 　ガールズ農場は、Ｕターン就農した高橋さんが２００９年に始め、現在は高橋さんのほか、６人の２０歳代女性がメンバーとして働いている。
今回、顧客とコミュニケーションを取りながら、おもてなしができるという若い女性ならではの強みを生かし、貸農園のオーナー募集を始めることになった。年会費制で農場を運営し、安定したビジネスモデルを確立したいとの思いもあるという。 　
　年会費は、１区画７万８４００円。就農３年目の先輩メンバーに担当してほしい場合は、５０００円の追加料金でオプション選択できる。
　高橋さんは、「ガールズ農場で『メイド付き農園』が成功すれば、全国各地で若い女性が畑を耕すためのハードルが下がるはず」と期待を込めている。
 　将来的には、会員制交流サイト「フェイスブック」も活用。野菜の育ち具合を撮影した写真を投稿して、畑を身近に感じてもらおうとも考えている。
