合格うどん(Pass noodles)

宮崎県都城市の都城西高校ＰＴＡが６日、手作りの「合格うどん」を３年生に振る舞い、大学入試などの成功を願って、エールを送った。

　受験シーズンを控え、日頃の勉強の疲れを癒やし、万全の体調で試験に臨んでもらおうと、２００５年から毎年実施している。桜の花をかたどり、「合格」の文字を入れた紅白のかまぼこや餅、ダルマの目に見立てたゆで卵などを盛りつけ、縁起のいい一杯に仕上げた。
　保護者ら約３０人が早朝から準備を始め、教職員の分も含めて３７０食を用意。「頑張ってね」と声をかけながら、湯気が立ち上る熱々のうどんを生徒たちに手渡した。
　将来、英語に関わる仕事に就きたいという女子生徒は「うどんで温まって、最後の追い込みを頑張ります」と気合を入れ直していた。いよいよセンター試験まで１週間をきりましたね。寒さも厳しい時期ですので体調管理を十分にして頑張ってください。
