過去、公の場でプロがコンピューターと対戦した例では、０７年に渡辺明竜王が勝ち、１０年の清水市代女流六段は敗れている。
この対局は「将棋電王戦」の名称で開催され、第２回は、新鋭の船江恒平四段が対局者に決まっている。もう人間では勝てない段階に来ているのかもしれませんね。
