出雲のイナズマ初段に！！（The first stage of Izumo Inazuma）

将棋の里見香奈女流三冠は７日、大阪市福島区の関西将棋会館で行われたプロ棋士養成機関「奨励会」の昇段に関わる対局で白星を挙げ、同日付で初段に昇段した。

　将棋では「棋士」と「女流棋士」は別制度。日本女子プロ将棋協会理事の蛸島彰子女流五段が１９６６年、特例規定で初段に昇段した例があるが、基準が男女同一の現行制度下で女性が初段になるのは初めて。

女流五段の里見三冠は、棋士を目指して昨年５月、奨励会に１級として編入。この日の対局に勝ち、昇段の条件の一つである「直近の対局成績が１２勝４敗」を満たした。
　里見三冠は島根県出雲市出身。鋭い攻めから「出雲のイナズマ」と呼ばれる。
　対局を終えて、「出雲の皆さんの応援が支えとなって頑張ることができた。これからも自分を信じて、二段、三段を目指していきたい」と話した。19歳ですから、今後が大きく期待できそうですね。新しい道を大きく切り開いていって欲しいですね。
