府は、京都に留学中の８か国・地域の１１人が海外の学生に向けて、母国語で情報を発信するブログを開設した。住環境や交通事情などの身近な生活情報から、伝統文化や観光スポットといった街の紹介まで、取り上げる話題は様々。各国の視点で京都の魅力をいきいきと伝えてもらい、留学生増加を目指す。
　ブログを担当するのは、出身国との架け橋役として、府が任命した「府名誉友好大使」。このうち中国、台湾、韓国、ドイツ、ベトナム、ペルー、マレーシア、ミャンマーの留学生１１人が記事を執筆している。
