諏訪地方を中心とするものづくり企業が自社の強みをアピールする「諏訪圏工業メッセ２０１３」が１７日、諏訪市湖岸通りの旧東洋バルヴ諏訪工場跡地を主会場に、３日間の日程で始まった。同地方６市町村や商工団体、県などでつくる実行委員会の主催。１２回目の今年は過去２番目に多い３３２企業・団体が出展、国内製造業の先行きが見通しにくい中、販路拡大を目指して活発な商談を展開する。
　開会式には阿部知事や地元首長、中国やインドネシアなど海外の企業関係者ら約１５０人が出席。実行委員長の藤森・諏訪商工会議所会頭はあいさつで「グローバル化の荒波が押し寄せる厳しい情勢だが、メッセを通じ地域の活性化に貢献したい。新たなビジネスチャンスをつかんでほしい」と期待した。
