水戸黄門（Mito Komon）

ＴＢＳの国民的時代劇「水戸黄門」の「最終回２時間スペシャル」（１２月１９日午後７時）の撮影が、京都・太秦（うずまさ）の東映京都撮影所などで進められている。昭和４４年８月４日の放映開始から４２年５カ月。「マラソンのようだった」（中尾チーフプロデューサー）という長い旅の締めくくりは、歴代のキャスト、豪華ゲストが勢ぞろいする「お祭り」となるようだ。
　物語の舞台は、１２月１２日に放送される第４３部最終回の数年後。里見浩太朗演じる水戸光圀（みつくに）ら一行は、幕府転覆をたくらむ巨大な悪と対決する。
　歴代のキャストの共演が見どころだ。格さんこと格之進役では、初代の横内正が格さんの義父、２代目の大和田伸也が幕臣、３代目の伊吹吾郎が村の名主としてそれぞれ出演。印籠が３人の手を経て、６代目の的場浩司に渡る“リレー”の場面も。
　助さんこと助三郎役では、３代目のあおい輝彦が「謎の侍」として、東幹久が演じる助さんに加勢。
　高橋元太郎の「うっかり八兵衛」、由美かおるの「疾風のお娟（えん）」、野村将希の「柘植の飛猿」といった懐かしのメンバーも復活する。台本には、番組の定番だった、お娟の入浴シーンも盛り込まれているというが、実現するかどうかは分からないとのこと。
　42年も続いていたんですね。勧善懲悪のドラマの典型ですね。悪が先行して1時間番組の四分の三まで悪行が続きますが、最後に善が全てをひっくり返してめでたしめでたしとなる。同じ筋書きですが、何度見ても飽きませんね。日本人の原点があるのかもしれませんね。時代劇が少なくなってきている今、ぜひ、復活して欲しいですね。
