留学で二つの博士号（Two PhD student in）

大阪大は、半年間の留学で海外の大学と大阪大両方の修士号を取得できる制度を創設した。欧州連合（ＥＵ）が進める国際的な大学間交流計画に基づく取り組みで、全国的にも珍しいという。
　ベルリン工科大などドイツ、イギリス、イタリアの３大学と、光通信工学の分野で共通の修士課程プログラムを導入。留学生は２年間の修士課程のうち、最初の１年を欧州の大学、２年目の前半を阪大で学ぶ。「第１期生」５人の留学生を１０月から受け入れている。
　留学生はＥＵから授業料などを支給されるが、阪大では通常の半分の期間で必要な単位を取り、修士論文の審査もパスする必要がある。高橋副学長（国際交流担当）は「大学院の活性化にもつながる。今後、一層の国際交流を図りたい」としている。逆に、阪大の学生も留学して学位をとれるようになるといいですね。
