古文書１２００冊（1200 Manuscript books）

日本統治時代に朝鮮半島から日本に持ち込まれた「朝鮮王朝儀軌（ぎき）」などの古文書１２００冊が６日、成田空港から仁川空港に空輸され、韓国側に引き渡された。仁川空港貨物ターミナルで開かれた式典では、武藤駐韓大使と朴錫煥第１外務次官が引き渡しを確認する文書を交換した後、がっちりと握手した。
　古文書が入ったコンテナは伝統衣装に身を包んだ国防省儀仗（ぎじょう）隊が先導。コンテナには「１００年ぶりに帰ってきたわれわれの魂」と書かれた布が掛けられた。朴次官は式典後、「日本政府も協力し、皆の力が合わさり実現した。きょうを契機に両国の関係が一層発展することを希望する」と語った。　
　古文書の引き渡しは、菅直人前首相が日韓併合１００年に当たる談話で表明し、計１２０５冊を渡すことで日韓が合意した。うち５冊は野田佳彦首相が１０月に訪韓した際に李明博大統領に渡した。
　古文書はソウルの国立古宮博物館で保管され、２７日から来年２月５日まで一般に公開される。
かなりの古文書ですね。両国に横たわる悲しい歴史が、この返還を通して償われ、明るい未来への良きパートナーとしての出発になるといいですね。
