　 実験はハシブトガラス２４羽で実施。ケージ内に密閉された同じ容器を２つ用意し、ふたにそれぞれ赤と緑、青と黄の２色のマークを描いた。赤と緑の方だけに 餌を入れてふたを破って食べられるようにし、数日間訓練してパターンを覚えさせた。その後、通常の飼育をして１、２、３カ月後、半年後、１０カ月後、１年 後の計６期間を４羽ずつに分けて同じ実験を実施。２４羽のうち１８羽が９０％以上の餌の取得率だった。１年後も４羽のうち３羽が９０％の取得率だったこと から、１年間記憶を持続できると判断した。人間以上の能力をもった生物は地球上にたくさんいると思いますね。人類よ!おごることなかれ！
