文部科学省は９日、来年度の大学医学部の入学定員を発表した。医師不足に対応するため、今年度より６８人増やし、過去最多の８９９１人とする。
　地元に残る学生を奨学金の返済免除などで支援する「地域枠」を１４大学で計６５人増やす。東日本大震災の被災地では、福島県立医科大で１５人増、東北大で５人増とし、定員はそれぞれ１２５人に。このほか、研究医養成のための「研究医枠」も３人増やすという。現実に医師不足なのでしょうから定員増は必要なのかもしれませんが中身も充実させてほしいですね。
