ふたご座流星群のピークを迎える12月14日夜～15日早朝は、西日本、東日本の太平洋側で流星観測が楽しめる。太平洋側の沿岸でも、夜遅い時間には雲が少なくなり、観測チャンスがあるようです。また、西日本の日本海側では、日本海にある低気圧から延びる前線の影響を受けるため、雲が広がりやすい時間があるものの、流星を観測するチャンスがあると予想されいる。一方で、北日本や北陸および沖縄ではあいにくの天気となり、観測は困難となる模様。防寒対策をして流れ星に願いを託すのもいいかもしれませんね。
