全国47都道府県から集まった高校生が学校ごとのチームで筆記試験や実験の成績を競う「第１回科学の甲子園全国大会」が25日閉幕し、埼玉県立浦和高の８人が日本一になった。銀メダルには滋賀県立膳所高、銅には愛知県立岡崎高が輝いた。

　会場となった兵庫県西宮市の県立総合体育館で開かれた表彰式で、浦和高２年のリーダー、原さんは「チームワークの力で勝てました」と満面の笑み。
