働く女性が勉強するのは英語。リクルートが行った調査で、仕事に役立つという理由で英語を学ぶ女性が増えていることが明らかになった。学びたいことも「英語」がトップで、語学熱は高まる一方だ。
　それによると、「この１年でやった学び事・習い事」のトップは、調査開始以来９年連続で「英語」。２５・５％で、前年より５・１ポイント増加した。２位は「ヨガ・ピラティス」（１８％）、３位は「フィットネスクラブ」（１７・４％）だった。
　資格取得やスキルアップを目的としたものが人気で、「医療（看護・医療事務など）」が前年の１８位から６位、「行政書士」が３２位から２０位、「宅地建物取引主任者」が３５位から２７位と大きく順位を上げた。
 　今後やってみたいことでも「英語」は４８・５％でトップ。「韓国語」も３２位から１３位、「フランス語」は３１位から２４位と大きく順位を上げた。
 　英語を学んで良かったことを尋ねたところ、１７・２％が「現在の仕事に役立った」と回答した。
やっぱり語学なんでしょうね。英語の公用化も後押しをしているのかもしれませんね。
