那覇市の通信事業会社「アイネットジャパン」が１１日、同市内で記者会見し、台湾企業「唐澤太陽能グループ」が開発中の多機能携帯電話（スマートフォン）「アイネットフォン」を来年２月をめどに日台で販売すると発表した。
　端末は６万円前後になる見込みで、米グーグルの基本ソフト（ＯＳ）「アンドロイド」と、独自のＯＳを搭載する。アイネットが自社開発した通信・通話システムを使うことで、国内外への通話や、インターネットへの接続料を含め、月額２０００円以下の定額料金体系を設定する計画だ。
　アイネット社は独自システムについて「特許申請中で、他社が追随する可能性があるので１２月ごろまで明かせない」と説明。ただ、ＮＴＴドコモやソフトバンクモバイルなど既存事業者との契約も別途必要としている。
　アイネットの小禄邦彦社長は「東京や大阪などの大都市に代理店を設置し、初年度１０万件の契約を目指す」と意気込んでいる。

しかし、日本の通話料や接続料は、世界から比べたらまだまだ高いように感じますね。
