２０１２年の干支(えと)である辰(たつ)をかたどった陶器のボトル入りウイスキー「ローヤル〈辰歳(どし)〉ボトル」（６００ミリ・リットル入り＝７３５０円）の製造が、サントリー山崎蒸溜所でピークを迎えている。
鮮やかな紺色の竜が天に昇る姿をイメージしており、サントリーは「来年の飛翔(ひしょう)を願う縁起物。新年には美しく香り“たつ”ウイスキーをぜひ味わって」とアピールしている。
職人が一つ一つ手作業で絵付けしており、贈答品やコレクション用として人気。約１万５３００本を出荷予定で、１１月８日から全国の酒店や百貨店のほか、インターネットでも販売される。
日本国内はもちろん世界的にも厳しい状況が続いていますから、干支にちなんで飛翔しようとする思いとフィットして、瞬く間に売りきれてしまうんでしょうね。来年のことを考える時期にもなってきましたね。
