２４時間で１００万台突破（Exceeded 24 million units in）

米アップルは１０日、今月１４日から日米など７か国で発売する高機能携帯電話（スマートフォン）の新型機種「ｉＰｈｏｎｅ（アイフォーン）４Ｓ」の予約台数が、受け付けを始めた７日から２４時間で１００万台を突破したと発表した。

　前モデルの「４」の６０万台を上回り、同社製品の一日の予約件数の過去最高を更新した。

４Ｓは、最新版の基本ソフトを搭載し、処理速度も大幅に速めた。取り込んだ音楽や動画などの電子データをインターネット経由で自動で管理し、多機 能携帯端末「ｉＰａｄ（アイパッド）」やパソコン「マック」など、アップル製の他の端末と共有できる「ｉＣｌｏｕｄ（アイクラウド）」など新サービスが利 用できる。
　５日に亡くなった共同創業者のスティーブ・ジョブズ会長が生前最後に手掛けた製品でもあり、販売台数は大きく伸びるとみられている。ジョブズ会長の影響が大きいんでしょうね。7日に予約を開始し14日から販売を始める日本でもかなり売上を伸ばすんでしょうね。
