日本関連専攻課程設置（Japan-related selection process established）

韓国の名門国立大学として知られるソウル大学は１４日、来年をめどに日本関連の専攻課程を含む「アジア言語文明学部」の設立を決めたことを明らかにした。ソウル大に日本関連の専攻課程が設置されるのは、１９４６年の創立以来初めてという。
１１月に行われる最高意思決定機関の評議員会で最終決定される。ソウル大によると、同学部には「日本言語文明」「西アジア言語文明」など４地域に関する専攻課程を設置。それぞれ５人程度の学生を募集するという。日本言語文明専攻では、日本語のほか、日本の思想や芸術なども学ぶ。学科とするかなど、組織の詳細は未定。
韓国メディアなどによると、ソウル大は創立からこれまで、反日感情を考慮し日本関連の学科を設置してこなかったという。
