日本人の人口は減少し始めている（The Japanese population has begun to decline）

日本人の人口は減少し始めている。平成２２年国勢調査の確定値によると、日本人の人口は１億２５３５万８８５４人と前回調査（１７年）に比べ、３７万１千人（０・３％）減少し、外国人と区別して集計を始めた昭和４５年以降、初めてマイナスとなった。外国人を含めた日本の総人口は１億２８０５万７３５２人で、前回調査から０・２％増加したものの、大正９年の調査開始以来最低の伸び率となっている。
　総務省は「日本は人口減少社会に入ったが、外国人の増加で総人口は横ばいの状態」と分析している。
　年齢別では６５歳以上の高齢者が総人口に占める割合は前回の２０・２％から２３・０％に上昇。逆に１５歳未満は１３・２％と前回から０・６ポイント低下した。少子高齢化が進んでいることを裏付ける結果で、有効な少子化対策が施されなければ、人口減は一層進むとみられる。世界の人口は７０億を突破するような状況の中で日本民族は確実に減少の一途をたどって地球上からいなくなってしまうことでしょうね。そして日本には、かつての日本民族ではない様々な民族の重なり合った民が増えていくようになるのかもしれませんね。減少を緩和することも現実的には難しいでしょうね。
