企業や大学、公的機関で働く女性研究者の数は今年３月末時点で１２万７８００人に上り、過去最多を更新したことが１８日、総務省の調査で分かった。研究者全体に占める割合も過去最高の１４・４％だった。
　研究者全体の数は前年同期に比べ１・０％減の８３万５７００人で、１２年ぶりに減少した。研究者全体は横ばい傾向が続いているが、女性研究者は年々増加している。
　２０１２年度の科学技術研究費の総額は前年度比０・３％減の１７兆３２４６億円で、２年ぶりに減少。国内総生産（ＧＤＰ）に占める研究費の比率は３・６７％で前年度と同水準だった。
　研究者１人当たりの科学技術研究費は０・７％増の２０７３万円と２年連続で増加した。
　まだまだ少ない感じですね。能力のある女性が研究できる環境をもっと整えていくべきでしょうね。
