スーパーコンピューター「京（けい）」を核にした協力を目指し、神戸大と理化学研究所計算科学研究機構は１５日、連携協定を結んだ。

 　神戸市中央区の神戸ポートピアホテルで開かれた連携協定調印式で、同機構の平尾機構長は「協定を機に地元の産業界とも連携を深め、新しい知を世界に発信したい。将来は防災分野での貢献も考えたい」とあいさつ。同大学の福田学長も「国際的な研究拠点づくりに尽力する」と話した。
多くの大学も、何らかの形で連携し様々な分野で京を活用できるようになるといいのかもしれませんね。
