Identification of the dislocation which moved by an earthquake and mechanism elucidation of the huge tsunami(地震で動いた断層の特定や巨大津波のメカニズム解明)

The study teams such as the marine research and development mechanism announced that I succeeded in gathering plate (rock board covering the earth) boundary stratum in the digging investigation of the bottom of the sea which caused a giant earthquake, a tsunami by East Japan great earthquake disaster on 25th. I will push forward identification of the dislocation which moved by an earthquake and the mechanism elucidation of the huge tsunami in future.
The digging investigation is carried out in an offshore 220 kilos meter of Miyagi for from April 1 to this month 24. Dug the bottom of the sea of 6,890 meters of depth of the water of up to 50 meters of neighborhood of Japan Trough that I moved 850 meters by East Japan great earthquake disaster in earth deep part exploration ship "Tikyu" and gathered stratum in section of approximately 200 meters including the plate border (820 meters of bottom of the sea bottoms).
On the plate border, the trace that was strongly crushed was found, but cannot pinpoint whether it is the thing caused by the earthquake. In addition, dislocation was found in 720 meters of bottom of the sea bottoms. Even if the external elucidation of the earthquake advances, it will be important that I find out an internal cause. This may be more important.
