The bad times do not have a Japanese heart as now（日本人の心が今ほど悪い時代はない）

Jakucho Setochi who became 90 years old in 15 days. It is said that ように which "there is not in the times when a Japanese heart is bad as now" is seen to the eyes of the writer who ran through を after the war for wartime.
Anyone cannot help having a feeling that even oneself became the world to be good. Even if is indifferent to the neighborhood, and a person falls down on a way; intellect らんぷりでしょう. I am impossible from a way of thinking of the Buddhism to share pains together even if I make a problem of the acceptance of the debris after the earthquake disaster. I was simple and was tender, and where did the Japanese who felt the pain of the person go to? A head is full of one's election, and the politician does not think that I think about a nation and the future. I live in 90 and think that there is not a Japanese heart as now as for the bad times.
I read "a corruption theory" of Ango Sakaguchi, and I got courage in one's youth. Motion かすとまでは does not think about a person one's thing which I wrote. Still the weapon of the writer only as for the pen. I face you for a situation of the present "assumption outside" simply because I lived though I did not think that I live to be 90 years old possibly. After all I think that I must leave this situation.
In a sense I feel it so that people said to be a progressive intellectual build up the Japanese present cause. Is Setouchi the part をになっていたのではないでしょうかね, too?
Because the thought was brought in, control cannot arrive at Japan which arrested personal freedom, right led by European and American absolutely only God as all criteria that I do not have such a background and included the right and wrong in between the world. "The orderly country did not seem to have watched many impressions of the foreigner who visited Japan mainly on last years of Edo era by such peace". Japan may fit a world mental leader if I regain former Japan.



15日で満90歳となった瀬戸内寂聴さん。戦中、戦後を駆け抜けた作家の目には「日本人の心が今ほど悪い時代はない」ように見えるという。
誰もが自分さえ良ければいいという世の中になった気がして仕方ない。隣近所には無関心、道で人が倒れていても知らんぷりでしょう。震災後のがれきの受け入れ の問題にしても、ともに苦しみを分かち合う仏教の考え方からはありえない。素朴で優しくて、人の痛みを感じていた日本人はどこへ行ったのかしら。政治家も 自分の選挙で頭がいっぱいで、国家や未来を考えているとは思えない。90年生きてきて、日本人の心が今ほど悪い時代はないとすら思う。

　私は若い頃、坂口安吾の「堕落論」を読んで勇気をもらった。自分の書いたものが人を動かすとまでは考えていません。それでも作家の武器はペ ンだけ。まさか90歳まで生きるとは思わなかったけれど、生きたからこそ、今の「想定外」の事態に向きあっているのです。やはりこの状況を書き残していか なければならないと思う。
ある意味では、進歩的な知識人と言われる方々が日本の今の原因を作り上げて来てしまっているようにも感じますね。瀬戸内さんも、その一翼をになっていたのではないでしょうかね？
欧米の絶対唯一神を中心とする個人の自由・権利を、そういう背景を持たず世間を善悪を含めたすべての判断基準として捉えていた日本に、その考えが持ち込まれましたから収拾が着くはずがありませんね。江戸末期を中心に日本を訪れた外国人の多くの感想は「こんな平和で秩序ある国は見たことがない」だったようです。かつての日本を取り戻せば日本は世界の精神的なリーダーにもなれるのかもしれませんね。
