National Astronomical Observatory and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency announced that Japanese orbiting solar observatory "Hinode" performed solar eclipse observation from the space on 21st of the golden ring solar eclipse.

日本の太陽観測衛星「ひので」が、金環日食の２１日に宇宙から日食観測を行うと、国立天文台と宇宙航空研究開発機構が発表した。
 　観測するのは部分日食だが、迫力ある太陽表面が月に隠されていく様子が高解像度の静止画や動画で即日公開される。
 　同天文台などによると、「ひので」は地球の上空６８０キロ・メートルを飛行しながら南北に周回している。この日は４回、インドネシア上空などで、Ｘ線望遠鏡を使って日食を観測する。
