今日は曇りがちな天候でしたが愛犬と共に近くの山に出掛けました。山の中を散策していると愛犬の吠える声が鳴り止まりません。人でもいるのかと思い山を駆け登っていくと、そこに鹿がいました。私が愛犬を呼ぶと、そのすきを見て鹿が坂を下っていきます。愛犬も果敢に坂を下っていきます。私は息が切れてしまってゆっくりと下って行くと鹿が、追い詰められて湖に飛び込みました。それを見て、愛犬の果敢に湖に飛び込みます。泳ぎも教えたことがありませんが本能のままに鹿を追いかけます。そのまま行けば溺れるかと思い、懸命に名前を呼んで何とか呼び寄せることが出来ました。鹿は３０メートル程を泳ぎ切って対岸に消えて行きました。初めての経験で疲れたのでしょうか愛犬は寝ています。
