２４日（日）、愛犬を伴って茂来山に登りました。２回ほど登ったことがありますが、今回は別ルートから登りました。最初は、なだらかなコースでしたが、途中から急峻なコースになり。最後は岩山をよじ登る雰囲気です。始めてのコースでしたので距離感がなく、本当に疲れました。歩き出して２時間ほどで頂上に到着しました。少し雲がかかっていましたが、眺めは最高です。山頂だけ日差しが直接当たっているせいかハエや蜂などの昆虫がまとわりついてきます。また、ツツジの花も咲き、そこに蝶がとまっていました。おにぎりを食べて下山を開始しましたが、途中で愛犬が何かを見つけて走りだしてしまいました。呼べど戻ってこないので来たコースを戻るだけなのでついてくるだろうと思って下山しました。頂上付近出会った登山客が下山してきて、「犬が頂上に戻ってご主人を探している様子でしたよ」との連絡を受けて再度登ることになりましたが、別の登山客が誘導してくださって下りてきた愛犬と出会うことができました。本当に、疲れました。
