　長崎県によると、枢機卿は中村法道知事にあてた１月８日付の文書で、下村文科相に支援の意向を伝えたことを明らかにした上で「福音と日本文化が出会った証拠が正しく評価されることを願っております」などとした。
　中村知事は昨年１０月、高見三明・カトリック長崎大司教を通じて枢機卿に世界遺産登録に向けた支援を求めていた。文化遺産登録に向けて弾みがつきそうですね。
