文部科学省は24日、小学6年と中学3年を対象にした全国学力・学習状況調査(全国学力テスト)を行った。4年ぶりの全員参加方式で、学力の改善状況を把握するため、過去のテストで正答率が低かった分野を集中的に出題した。子供が興味を持ちやすいよう日常生活に関連した題材や話題の出来事も取り上げた。
実施教科は国語と算数・数学で、基礎的知識をみるA問題と、知識の応用力を測るB問題に分けた。全国の国公私立約3万校の約228万7千人が受けた。同省は8月下旬に都道府県別の正答率などを公表する。
文科省は全国学力テストを始めた2007年度から10年度までの結果を分析。国語では自分の考えを書く力、算数ではかけ算と割り算の意味の理解など正答率が低い19項目を課題として示した。

学力テストから出てくる結果を元に、いかに教育現場に反映させていくかが課題でしょうね。
