その結果、「うそをついてはいけない」としつけられた人の年収は、平均約448万円で最も高く、しつけられた覚えがない人(同約398万円)を50万円上回った。「他人に親切にする」「ルールを守る」「勉強をする」も、しつけを受けた場合の方が、年収が約29万~15万円高かった。
さらに、これら四つのしつけを全て受けた人の平均年収は約479万円で、一つも受けていない人(約393万円)と比べ、約86万円高かった。
一方、「あいさつをする」や、「ありがとうと言う」といったしつけは、年収の高さとはほとんど関係なかった。
自分に対しても人に対しても「嘘をつかない」ことがもっと重要なんでしょうかね。そういえば会津藩の掟の中にも出てきますね。
