Sat can Koshien 2013.

超小型の模擬人工衛星「缶サット」について学ぶ高校生向けの講習会が岐阜大学サテライトキャンパスで開かれた。生徒らは、夏に開かれる全国大会「缶サット甲子園」を目指し、製作に取り組む。
　缶サットは、空き缶に超小型の模擬人工衛星を搭載したもの。プログラムが組み込まれたマイクロコンピューターを空き缶に入れ、ロケットで飛ばした後上空で放出し、降下しながらデータを収集する仕組み。人工衛星教育などで世界的に使われる手法という。
　生徒らは、人工衛星の頭脳部分となるマイクロコンピューターに、実際に命令を送るなどし、プログラミングの練習を行った。
　生徒らは今後、人工衛星に組み込むプログラミングを独自に考案。７月に行われる大会で、アイデアの独自性や集積されたデータの分析などを通じて審査が行われ、上位のチームは、８月に北海道で行われる全国大会への出場権が獲得できる。既に応募は締めきられて予選会を待つばかりですが将来の宇宙科学者が誕生することを期待したいですね。「缶サット甲子園」の詳しい内容はhttp://www.space-koshien.com/cansat/index.html　をご覧ください。
