　この日、初会合を行ったのは、義家政務官をトップとする省内チーム。同規則を改正して、土曜授業を「特別の必要がある場合」に限定せず、土曜も含めた弾力的な時間割編成を可能にする案が議論された。具体的には「総合的な学習」や「道徳」を土曜に移し、平日は教科に充てることで、授業の充実を図るという。
　同チームは来月、土曜の過ごし方の現状を子どもや親、教員にも尋ねる全国調査を実施する方針。土曜日は、大人は仕事し、子どもも学校で勉強する勤勉な日本を取り戻して欲しい気もしますね。土曜の授業いいんじゃないでしょうかね。
