Ishido layer

Recently, I've been participating in Tobiiri to those which can be organized by the community center earth science classroom. The goal is to determine the location of Ishido fossils. Ishido layer is said, has been known for his prolific well preserved fossils from ancient times. Seems to produce Cretaceous ammonites, and Torigonia.
Folded many people to participate but unfortunately it was rainy. I thought I'd try to go to find ammonites also became warm location, so you can identify to some extent.

つい先日、公民館主催の地学教室なるものに飛び入りで参加してきました。目的は石堂の化石の産出場所を確認することです。石堂層といわれ、古くから保存良好な化石を多産したことで知られています。白亜紀のアンモナイト、トリゴニア等を産するようです。
あいにくの雨模様でしたが多くの方々が参加しておられました。場所が、ある程度特定できたので暖かくなったらアンモナイトでも探しに行ってみようかとおもいます
