人工衛星の開発に力を入れる大阪府立大（堺市）が、５月にも国内初の「衛星キット」を発売する。

　同大学の南部助教によると、衛星キットは約１０センチ角のサイコロ形で、重さは約１キロ。電源や通信装置などで構成されている。本体の約３分の１は、購入者がカメラや集積回路といった実験装置を自由に搭載できるスペースだ。
　２０１４年に同大学が打ち上げた超小型衛星「こすもず」をベースに開発を進め、今月中にも試作機を完成させる。兵庫県の電子機器メーカーが量産化に協力し、販売価格は３００万～３５０万円の予定だ。日本でもいよいよ発売になりますね。途上国での販路が確立されていくといいですね。
