三菱重工業と宇宙航空研究開発機構（ＪＡＸＡ）は３０日、天候不良のため、種子島宇宙センターで１２月１日に予定していた小惑星探査機「はやぶさ２」の打ち上げを再び延期し、同３日午後１時２２分４秒に実施すると発表した。
　同社などによると、同１日の予定時間に強風が予想されるためだという。天候によっては、再度延期の可能性もある。
　はやぶさ２を搭載したＨ２Ａロケット２６号機は当初、１１月３０日に打ち上げ予定だったが、射場付近の天候不良が予想されたため延期。同社などは同２９日に再度検討し、１２月１日午後に打ち上げると発表していた。
　はやぶさ２は、世界で初めて小惑星の物質を持ち帰った「はやぶさ」の後継機。計画では、地球の火星の間にある小惑星「１９９９ＪＵ３」にクレーター（くぼ地）を作って内部の物質を採取し、２０年末に地球に帰還する。長い航海です。数日の遅れは関係ありませんので最高の打ち上げ環境で最高の一歩を歩みだして欲しいですね。
